I recently started High School at the FM9 campus. I've gotten through a week of it, and my opinions defiantly vary. I love some parts of it, like the freedom, lunches, only 4 class periods, ect. Some things I hate about it are that I barely see anyone that isn't in my lunch or classes. I miss some things about middle school, like less kids, but I also love that high school brings so many new things to the table. The lunches are better, the building is prettier, and the freedom is greater. I have two core classes this semester and two electives. I like it because my work load is not as big as middle schools (yet). I only have to focus on a couple classes, so I don't have to worry about 8 classes at a time. The new things here are going to take some getting used to, but I can already tell its gonna make high school a lot easier. Thankfully, I have lunch with some of my best friends. My favorite thing about lunch is the cafe cart that serves coffee and smoothies. My whole first week, I didn't have any homework (which is pretty lucky). I was so worried, but now that I'm here, i don't know why. I loved everything about my first week.
